checking tonight's top stories, this is a murky picture, the future of anne arundel county executive john leopold. a judge found leopold guilty of misconduct in office yesterday but this afternoon the council introduced a bill to vote him out of office but the county attorney said, according to the charter, they have to wait until leopold is sentenced, and we're learning that a sentencing date will be scheduled tomorrow. the principal of a well-known private school resigned after admitting he had inappropriate communications with at least one student. principal barry fids patrick handed in his let are of resignation. they said they have made police aware. >> shocking testimony in the phylicia barnes murder trial. prosecutors called james lee to the stand.

it will be the gusty winds. first, a flood watch. that's a flash flood watch for the entire state. so high winds will be the concern, big jet on top of us. sustained winds 30 to 40, maybe gusts higher. we're hoping to avid tornadoes here but funnel clouds have touched down in parts of the south. this is video of a tornado striking northwest georgia. one person was killed. it destroyed a home, flipped over some cars and caused significant damage to a motel and manufacturing plant. in tennessee a 47-year-old man died in nashville when a tree fell on top of the garage where he lived. middle of teen see is under a tornado watch. tornado warning have been issued in kentucky as well as alabama.
